Description:
La Vita Catering is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join its growing team in Dubai. This position is ideal for a procurement professional with a strong background in the UAE’s food and beverage industry and hands-on experience managing purchasing operations for catering or hospitality businesses.
The successful candidate will oversee the complete procurement process, build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate competitive pricing, and ensure the timely availability of quality products. You will work closely with internal departments to support smooth daily operations while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement of food, beverages, and operational supplies for catering operations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and regional suppliers to secure the best value.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products while controlling purchasing costs.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and pricing fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety standards and procurement regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and finance teams to meet purchasing requirements.
• Manage inventory levels and reduce wastage through effective planning and stock control.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE catering, hospitality, or F&B industry.
• Strong network of UAE-based food and beverage suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Experience using procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
