Description:

This position plays a critical role in supporting KinderCare Learning Companies’ mission to create nurturing environments where children and families thrive.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the full procurement process, including data analysis, supplier management, and contract negotiation. You’ll provide analytical insights that drive operational efficiency across key departments such as Facilities, Construction, Operations, Education, Marketing, IT, and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial accuracy.
- Conduct market research on products, services, pricing trends, suppliers, and cost benchmarks.
- Collaborate with functional and procurement partners to align project goals and deadlines.
- Create and manage RFP events on ERP platforms, ensuring clarity in product specifications and vendor requirements.
- Perform detailed financial and data analysis using advanced Excel functions and other analytical tools.
- Develop negotiation plans with financial and non-financial targets.
- Draft, review, and document clear, risk-mitigated contracts and ensure performance compliance.
- Lead multiple procurement projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within scope.
- Partner with finance to align procurement activities with budgetary goals.
- Recommend improvements to procurement processes, policies, and vendor relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or Finance preferred); Master’s degree a plus.
- At least 2 years of procurement experience in a corporate or multi-unit environment.
- Strong command of MS Excel (formulas, lookups, formatting, and large datasets).
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Workday is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of contracts, risk assessment, and negotiation strategies.
- Intellectual curiosity with a proactive, self-driven mindset.
