The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work confidently with numbers and payroll systems in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute full-cycle payroll processing for assigned clients

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll administration including adjustments and calculations

• Handle prorated pay, final pay calculations, and multi-state tax withholdings

• Process garnishments, bonuses, commissions, stock compensation, and reimbursements

• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, Workers Compensation, and 401(k) processes

• Use payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Rippling, and Paylocity

• Maintain client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery

• Generate reports and handle payroll-related data using Excel functions

• Ensure compliance with payroll policies, tax regulations, and internal standards

Requirements:

• Experience in payroll processing, preferably multi-client environments

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Rippling, or Paylocity

• Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables

• Ability to manage pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines

• Strong communication and client relationship management skills

• Strong knowledge of:

• Payroll processing and administration

• Multi-state tax withholding and compliance

• Payroll reporting and financial documentation

• Excel-based data management and analysis

• Payroll accounting experience is a plus

• FPC/CPP certification is an advantage but not required
