Description:
Wealth Enhancement Group, an independent wealth management firm, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex legal matters, including company agreements, litigation support, acquisition due diligence, and internal investigations. Remote work is possible, though local candidates in Plymouth, MN are preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support drafting, reviewing, and negotiating company agreements, including NDAs, real estate contracts, and vendor agreements
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather required data and correspond with counterparties for timely agreement completion
• Prepare summaries of agreements for internal stakeholders
• Coordinate execution, filing, and administration of legal documents and insurance policies
• Conduct legal research using internal documents, online databases, and other reference sources
• Assist with privacy, data protection, and information security compliance initiatives
• Support legal review of cybersecurity protocols and coordinate with IT and compliance teams
• Assist in merger & acquisition activities, including due diligence review and post-closing legal deliverables
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals and adapt to evolving business needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate from ABA-accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of relevant paralegal experience
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Flexibility to manage workload during periods of high activity
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base salary: $95,000–$105,000; full salary grade: $81,100–$125,300
