Description:
EthosEnergy is seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the O&M Performance Center Director. This role is responsible for providing operational support across our global 29GW Thermal and Renewable power generation portfolio, assisting with consultancy contracts, and supporting business and program development initiatives.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Support Operations Directors and Facility Managers to ensure facilities operate safely and responsibly.
- Provide O&M guidance, assist with special projects, and improve plant performance.
- Serve as Project Manager for greenfield mobilizations and brownfield transitions, emphasizing lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate EEOM Operations forums at regional and fleet levels.
- Assist in developing and implementing O&M standards, employee qualification programs, performance monitoring tools, and CMMS systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and commercial commitments.
- Maintain relationships with Owner’s Representatives for assigned projects.
- Track and analyze operational data to support continuous improvement.
- Provide interim O&M team support and lead quality initiatives such as NCRs, RCAs, and MOC processes.
- Participate in Reliability Program development and transactional consultancy projects.
- Undertake special projects as assigned.
✅ Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of power plant operations, O&M processes, and safety & health programs.
- Expertise in CMMS and familiarity with environmental permits and regulations.
- Knowledge of DCS, PLCs, and data acquisition systems (e.g., OSIsoft Pi, GE Proficy).
- Understanding of water treatment programs and statutory compliance.
- Ability to analyze data, make informed recommendations, and use MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Familiarity with budgets, contracts, procurement, plant economics, and power pool operations.
✅ Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in power plant operations and maintenance.
- At least 3 years in plant management with fleet, regional, or portfolio responsibilities preferred.
- Experience with contract administration, supply chain, and procurement.
- Combined Cycle start-up, commissioning, and major maintenance experience preferred.
- Project Management/Control experience.
✅ Education Requirements:
- Relevant four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- Project Management or Project Control certification is a plus.
- Quality program or systems certification is desirable.
✅ Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, reach, climb, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Travel required, mainly domestic US with occasional international trips.
