Description:

Marquee Brands is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Metadata / Data Entry Clerk to support its Media Team. The role involves working with structured content related to well-known brands including Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and Sur La Table, spanning digital, broadcast, streaming, and editorial platforms.

The selected candidate will be responsible for accurately reviewing, tagging, and organizing media content such as recipes, articles, images, and videos into structured metadata formats. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to handle large volumes of content while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data stewards to identify and document metadata across multiple content types

• Review print and digital media assets including recipes, articles, and videos

• Extract and input structured data such as cuisine type, timing, nutrition, and category tags

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of metadata entries

• Edit and update metadata tags according to established CMS guidelines

• Conduct research to assign accurate descriptions, categories, and attributes

• Maintain data integrity across digital asset management systems

• Support continuous improvement of metadata organization and quality standards

Requirements:

• Experience in metadata tagging, data entry, or content management systems

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) or CMS platforms

• Ability to process large volumes of data efficiently

• Strong proofreading and copyediting skills

• Ability to identify and correct errors in structured data

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in metadata tagging for multimedia content

• Experience with editorial or digital recipe/content platforms

• Familiarity with food, recipe, or lifestyle media content

• Exposure to branded editorial standards such as Martha Stewart style content
