Description:
iFM Facilities Management L.L.C is seeking an experienced MEP Training Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead technical training programs for hard services within facilities management, ensuring engineers and technicians have the skills to maintain high operational standards.
🔹 Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement technical training programs for FM hard services, including MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
- Conduct skills gap analyses and develop structured training plans for staff
- Maintain detailed training records and prepare audit-ready documentation
- Coordinate with operations, technical teams, and third-party vendors for specialized training sessions
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and performance assessments
🔹 Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related discipline
- 7–10 years of experience in Facilities Management (Hard Services), including at least 3 years in training or technical leadership
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical distribution and safety
- Plumbing and water systems
- Fire protection systems
- Lifts/Elevators and statutory inspections
- Familiarity with PPM schedules, reactive maintenance workflows, and compliance with authorities (Civil Defense, Municipality, etc.)
🔹 Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent technical knowledge of hard services assets and maintenance practices
- Ability to create training modules, manuals, and SOPs
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, CMMS platforms, and training software
- Understanding of ISO standards (ISO 41001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and HSE regulations
🔹 Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or equivalent
- Train-the-Trainer Certification
- NEBOSH / IOSH for safety compliance
- Specialized OEM training for critical systems (HVAC, Fire Safety, Electrical)
