The Membership Activation Specialist will engage with prospective customers across multiple channels, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, online chat, and SMS. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to learn and adapt scripts, and a results-oriented, mission-driven mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, SMS, and online chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow communication scripts and adapt when necessary to address unique customer situations.
  • Identify customer needs, resolve complaints, and provide solutions to facilitate sign-ups.
  • Maintain ownership of customer interactions throughout the lifecycle, including follow-ups with the escalation team.
  • Recommend improvements for systems and processes to enhance organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Memorize service scripts and FAQs to provide accurate and consistent information.
  • Build positive relationships with prospective customers, going above and beyond to ensure questions are answered.
  • Proactively offer information to encourage customer sign-ups.
  • Meet daily and weekly targets for service quality, productivity, and results.
  • Document problems and remedial actions, sharing insights with the team.
  • Assist less tech-savvy customers with completing online forms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in call center or customer support roles.
  • Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Expertise in conflict resolution and customer sales.
  • Empathetic, mission-driven, collaborative, precise, transparent, compassionate, and results-oriented.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary: $55,000 – $60,000 plus benefits.
  • Total compensation depends on position type, location, education, experience, and certifications.
