Description:

We are hiring a Tax Costing Compliance officer for a reputed Water treatment entity in Dubai to take care of all types of applicable taxation, and costing.

Salary: AED 9,000- 10,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate, timely filing of local corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and other business-related filings.
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
  • Facilitate and manage the preparation, review, and inspection of companies’ corporate tax and withholding tax returns in respective GCC countries.
  • Ensure accurate, timely filing of all tax returns and other business-related filings.
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary applicable taxes in respective GCC countries by considering the tax treaties wherever available.
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
  • Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections to corporate.
  • Research the implications of tax laws and advise on tax-related issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Administrate product manufacturing costing. Analyze all incoming products, resources and services to ensure the best pricing across the business segments. Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/ services were received at the expected cost. Data analysis and deviation analysis of significant cost positions for the monthly business reports, forecast, plan and year-to-date. Commit to maximizing costing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality.
  • Manage timely renewal of all the insurance program of group, review and enhance insurance scope of work with corporate office, insurance brokers, and internal customers.
  • Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company’s policies, and advising management on possible risks.
  • Create and manage effective actions plan in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Preparation and Analysis of Standard Costing and its procedures to be managed and updated in the ERP system as and when required
