Ideal International Power Tools FZE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with experience in the shipping and logistics sector. The role involves managing financial operations efficiently, with a focus on shipping documentation, customs, and accounting workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience in the Shipping & Logistics sector (UAE or home country)
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or other CRM systems
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations, financial reporting, and auditing standards
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Maintain shipping-related financial documentation (freight invoices, port charges, agent bills)
- Record financial transactions using Tally
- Manage UAE Customs & Port Clearance
- Handle order processing and delivery follow-up
- Perform bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and handle VAT filings
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Collaborate with internal departments for smooth financial workflows
