Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Manager to join Premium International School – Al Ain. This is a hands-on leadership role for a candidate with proven school-based IT experience within Abu Dhabi—compliance with ADEK requirements is mandatory. The successful candidate will oversee the school’s entire IT environment and ensure robust, reliable technical services for staff and students.

Core Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience working as an IT Manager in private schools within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (mandatory).
  • A university degree in IT or a closely related discipline, with full attestation of academic documents as required by UAE authorities.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong practical experience with school IT systems including networks, servers, endpoints, LMS/SIS platforms, and common educational software.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills under pressure—especially during peak school operational periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance across networks, servers, and user devices.
  • Oversee the operation of attendance systems, digital learning platforms, and all classroom technology to support teaching and learning.
  • Provide timely technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and students; manage service requests and escalations.
  • Ensure data security through regular backups, patch management, access control, and adherence to privacy protocols.
  • Prepare and support technical requirements for ADEK inspections and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and incident logs; recommend improvements and upgrades as needed.
