Description:
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is looking for experienced HSE Officers to join its team in Dubai for ongoing and upcoming road, infrastructure, and bridge projects. This role is suited for safety professionals with hands-on experience in major civil construction projects, particularly those involving RTA standards.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment by implementing HSE policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting project teams with safety inspections, risk management, and documentation. Candidates with previous RTA project experience will be given strong preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices across project sites.
• Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, RTA requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
• Monitor road, infrastructure, and bridge construction activities to maintain safe operations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records, permits, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and relevant authorities regarding safety matters.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Health, Safety & Environment, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as an HSE Officer in road, infrastructure, and bridge projects.
• Mandatory or highly preferred experience working on RTA projects in Dubai.
• Good understanding of UAE HSE regulations, RTA safety requirements, and construction safety standards.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or OSHA certification will be an added advantage.
• Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, permit management, and incident reporting.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, inspection, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
