Description:
A hospitality organization based in Umm Al Quwain, UAE is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join its Human Resources team. This role is well suited for individuals who are organized, proactive, and capable of managing day-to-day HR functions while supporting the organization’s workforce and operational goals.

The HR Officer will play an important role in managing recruitment activities, assisting with employee onboarding, maintaining HR records, and ensuring that all HR processes comply with UAE labor laws and company policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, administrative capabilities, and a professional approach when handling employee-related matters.

This role also involves supporting internal HR operations such as attendance tracking, documentation management, and assisting with employee relations. Candidates with previous experience in the hospitality industry will have an advantage, as the role requires understanding the fast-paced nature of hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and joining documentation for new employees.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and maintain organized and updated personnel files.
  • Monitor attendance records, leave management, and provide support for payroll processing.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UAE Labor Law and internal company policies.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, HR documentation, and internal communication.
  • Support general HR operations and administrative tasks within the department.
  • Coordinate with management on HR initiatives, workforce planning, and operational HR activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related academic field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Good communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR operational procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, organized, and proactive approach to work.
  • Candidates based in Umm Al Quwain or willing to commute are preferred.
