Description:
Arakkal Gold & Diamonds LLC is looking for a skilled and proactive HR Officer to manage and support all human resource functions within its retail jewellery operations. This role requires a professional with solid experience in retail HR, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of UAE labour regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring efficient HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company objectives and UAE Labour Law
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, onboarding, and retention of employees across departments
• Oversee performance management processes, including setting KPIs, tracking performance, and conducting evaluations with department heads
• Provide HR advice and support to both management and staff on performance, career growth, and disciplinary matters
• Handle employee relations, resolve conflicts, and manage grievances to maintain a healthy work environment
• Ensure full compliance with UAE labour and immigration laws and keep policies updated accordingly
• Supervise payroll coordination, employee benefits administration, and leave management
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Assist leadership in workforce planning, succession strategies, and organizational development initiatives
• Conduct HR audits and generate reports on KPIs, employee turnover, and workforce trends
• Organize and promote training and development programs to enhance employee engagement and performance
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• CHRM and/or CIPD certification is required
• 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership exposure
• Previous experience in the retail or jewellery industry is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam
