Description:
Novel Hotel City Center in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the property. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who have previous supervisory experience in UAE hotels and are committed to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping team, monitor room quality, coordinate with other hotel departments, and ensure all housekeeping procedures meet established hotel standards. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping department.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the proper use, storage, and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and other departments regarding room status and guest requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene standards, safety regulations, and housekeeping procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel is required.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping standards, cleaning procedures, and hotel operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
