Description:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead financial operations at our factory in Fujairah. The role requires hands-on leadership of the finance function, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting, budgeting, and operational control. You will provide timely financial insight to support business decisions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The position involves supervising the finance/accounts team and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily financial operations of the factory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
• Design, implement, and monitor cost accounting systems focused on cost control and reduction.
• Develop and manage monthly and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Produce accurate financial reports and analysis to guide management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the finance/accounts team to improve performance and accuracy.
• Work closely with operations to align financial processes with production and cost-management goals.
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel tools to streamline reporting and financial controls.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA/CMA) preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting and demonstrated success with cost-reduction initiatives.
• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting (monthly and annual), and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
