Description:

A new premium burger concept launching in Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah, Dubai is seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Head Chef to lead its culinary vision. This is not just a cooking role — it is a leadership opportunity for a chef who views the burger as a refined craft, built on precision, discipline, and uncompromising quality standards.

The selected candidate will take full ownership of the kitchen operations from pre-opening through launch and ongoing service. You will play a key role in shaping kitchen culture, systems, menu identity, and overall culinary excellence while maintaining strong operational control.

This position is ideal for chefs with fine dining discipline who are ready to apply their expertise in a modern, high-volume premium casual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations from preparation to service execution

• Maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency, and presentation across all dishes

• Develop, refine, and execute a burger-focused, ingredient-driven, technique-led menu

• Oversee food costing, portion control, waste reduction, and overall P&L performance

• Manage inventory systems, purchasing, and supplier relationships effectively

• Recruit, train, and mentor a strong and disciplined kitchen team

• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality health and food safety regulations

• Drive innovation through specials, seasonal updates, and new product development

• Organize kitchen workflow, mise en place, and service efficiency during peak operations

• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience

• At least 2 years in a Sous Chef or Head Chef role

• Strong background in premium casual dining, burger concepts, or high-volume kitchens

• Fine dining experience strongly preferred with strong technical foundation

• Expertise in butchery, meat preparation, and flavor development

• Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen P&L

• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage pressure in fast-paced environments

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail in prep and service flow

• Strong communication and team leadership abilities
