Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance Director to join our organization.
Qualifications
- Budgeting experience, oversee accurate monthly close process, AR management, partner with operations to drive service delivery, margin and process improvements, manage and develop a team of 2 analysts
- Manage a team of 2 analysts, including updating job descriptions, hiring, training, performance reviews, and developing career paths within Compass
- Maintain and enhance existing processes and tools used to deliver stakeholder requirements
- Establish strong relationships with the Category Management team through understanding their business requirements
- Gain a detailed understanding of our bespoke Supply Chain system
- Supplier reconciliations to ensure we capture any rebates not correctly billed
- Analysis to resolve supplier disputes and ensure timely payment of rebates by suppliers
- Manage term sets used within our Supply Chain model to calculate rebates
- Perform price and rebate analysis to determine the net financial impact of changing terms with suppliers
- Manual invoicing of suppliers where this is not done through an automated process
- Perform price audits to ensure distributors
- Perform program change audits
Requirements
- Degree in Finance and Accounting field required
- Accounting designation i.e. CPA, CMA, CGA strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail as well as critical thinking and analytical skills
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, analytically inclined and team player
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines
- A good business acumen that enables you to quickly understand and deal with unusual situations leading to a favorable outcome
- Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications and database management
- Positive attitude with the willingness to accept flexibility in assignments and the desire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excel
