The organization is currently seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join its remote team in the United States. This role focuses on evaluating project costs, analyzing materials, and developing accurate pricing strategies for a wide range of experiential and construction-based projects. The Estimator will collaborate closely with design, sales, production, and finance teams to ensure cost-effective and efficient project execution.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical abilities, construction knowledge, and experience in estimating or project-based pricing. The role requires excellent communication skills, technical understanding of materials and fabrication processes, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for experiential, construction, and production projects.
• Analyze materials, labor requirements, vendor pricing, and production costs.
• Collaborate with design, sales, production, and finance teams for project planning.
• Develop accurate and client-friendly pricing proposals.
• Identify cost-effective material substitutions and alternative construction methods.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, and technical documentation for estimation accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing information.
• Maintain financial accuracy including markups, margins, and operational cost analysis.
• Support project teams with cost guidance and budgeting recommendations.
• Ensure timely delivery of estimates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate pricing details effectively.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in estimating or related field.
• Experience in construction, project management, or tradeshow/exhibit industry preferred.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and understand 3D visualization concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and vendor coordination.
