Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Analyst with strong hands-on exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In this role you’ll translate business needs into robust functional designs, lead data migration and validation efforts, and help configure the ERP to support finance, supply chain, CRM and project workflows across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business processes, capture functional requirements, and convert them into detailed functional specifications.
- Configure Business Central modules and workflows to align with finance, supply chain, CRM and project-management needs.
- Design and execute data migration plans — including data mapping, transformation rules, and backend validation using SQL.
- Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards (Power BI, RDLC) and support automation of recurring reports.
- Support testing activities: develop test cases, perform functional and integration testing, and assist in test automation when applicable.
- Collaborate with developers, IT and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions and ensure smooth deployments.
- Provide operational knowledge transfer, create user guides, and deliver end-user training and post-implementation support.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including module configuration and workflow setup.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, queries and backend testing.
- Experience with data modelling and migration tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM development and workflow configuration is an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of Power BI and experience creating custom dashboards and reports.
- Exposure to XSLT, testing automation tools, and scripting will be considered a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Well organised, able to manage time effectively across multiple streams of work and stakeholder groups.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams; capable of translating technical concepts for business users.
