The Equity Administrator role sits within Stripe’s Total Rewards team, which is responsible for designing and managing competitive compensation programs that include cash, bonuses, and equity. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and scalability of Stripe’s global equity programs while delivering a high-quality experience for employees.

The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working across multiple teams to manage equity data, compliance processes, and employee-facing communications in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accuracy of equity data within Shareworks, including capitalization tables and equity plans

• Process equity transactions such as grants, RSU releases, stock option exercises, share issuances, and stock purchase allocations

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all equity-related activities

• Maintain accurate employee participant data across equity systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, tax, payroll, legal, and compensation

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual equity reconciliations

• Support employee equity experience through inquiries, presentations, and educational resources

• Develop and improve equity administration processes, automation systems, and global compliance workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in equity administration within a fast-growing organization

• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace tools (G-Suite)

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment

• Experience with Shareworks or similar equity management platforms

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage equity operations, compliance, and employee education simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience scaling equity programs in high-growth companies

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Exposure to international tax compliance and mobility considerations

• CEP Level 3 certification is a plus

• Familiarity with AI tools or LLMs to improve workflow efficiency

Work Arrangement:

• Fully remote within the United States (must be 35+ miles from Stripe offices)

• Occasional travel for meetings, events, or team collaboration sessions
