Description:

Al Salam Community School is seeking a warm, confident, and people-focused Engagement Ambassador to join its community in Dubai. As a long-standing, family-run school with over 40 years of legacy, the institution places strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships between families, educators, and the wider school community.

This role is central to ensuring that every family feels welcomed, supported, and valued from their very first interaction with the school. The Engagement Ambassador will act as the primary point of contact for parents and carers while helping strengthen the partnership between home and school.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about communication, community building, and creating a positive and inclusive environment where families feel genuinely connected and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for families in person, online, and via telephone

• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers across a multicultural community

• Support school events, open days, and parent-facing activities

• Assist in communication between school leadership and families

• Contribute to strengthening the school-home partnership

• Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all families

• Maintain accurate records of family interactions and communications

Requirements:

• Warm, approachable, and highly people-oriented personality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage

• Experience in Parent Relations, Customer Service, or Community Engagement preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds

• Strong organizational and coordination skills

• Strong knowledge of:

• Customer service and relationship management

• Community engagement practices

• School-parent communication systems

• Event support and coordination

• Cross-cultural communication
