Description:
A growing organization in the UAE is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Document Controller to join its fit-out and maintenance project team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation to ensure smooth workflow across ongoing projects.
The role requires strong experience in document control procedures within the fit-out or interior industry, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates will work closely with project engineers, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure proper documentation handling and submission processes.
This opportunity is suitable for professionals who are highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing large volumes of project documentation efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize all project documents, records, and files
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, and submittals
• Ensure proper document control, filing systems, and version tracking
• Coordinate with project teams for timely submissions and approvals
• Track revisions, approvals, and documentation status updates
• Support engineers and site teams with documentation requirements
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and internal departments
Requirements:
• Experience in the Fit-Out or Interior Industry is required
• Strong understanding of document control procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple project documents efficiently
• Experience working with site teams, consultants, and suppliers
Strong knowledge of:
• Document control systems and procedures
• Project documentation management
• MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Drawing and submittal tracking processes
