Description:
Compliance Holdings, LLC is seeking a meticulous Data Specialist to manage and process sensitive client data, particularly for annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting. This role demands high attention to detail, technical proficiency, and adherence to HIPAA and HITECH regulations. The ideal candidate will handle repetitive tasks during peak reporting periods while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, process, and validate client data to meet Lumelight system template requirements.
  • Understand system behavior and ensure compliance with ACA reporting regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Identify and resolve data issues promptly, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Utilize proprietary data processing tools to retrieve, transform, and load data securely.
  • Maintain effective working relationships as a liaison between clients and the Lumelight team.
  • Represent Lumelight in client or broker interactions when necessary.
  • Provide quality control for ACA reporting clients.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, text to column) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple data sources and projects, especially during high-volume periods.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain data privacy at all times.
  • Self-motivated and capable of collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll and medical plan enrollment data preferred.
  • Familiarity with employee benefits compliance and federal reporting regulations is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Remote position within approved Lumelight states.
  • Operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment provided.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week.
  • Extended hours and weekend work may be required during peak ACA reporting season (primarily Q1).
