Overview
Freight Hub Shipping LLC is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to support day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth experience for our clients across import, export and logistics services. You will be the first line of communication for customers—owning queries, coordinating with internal teams, and closing the loop promptly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support & Case Handling: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email; log tickets, track progress and provide timely updates until resolution.
- Order & Shipment Coordination: Liaise with operations to schedule pickups/deliveries, share status milestones, and escalate delays or exceptions proactively.
- Documentation & Data Accuracy: Verify completeness of shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB where applicable) and ensure records are accurate in the system.
- Service Recovery: Manage complaints tactfully, investigate root causes with cross-functional teams, and communicate corrective actions.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with operations, sales and (where needed) finance to ensure customer commitments are met and billing queries are clarified.
- Reporting: Maintain dashboards and daily trackers for open cases, service levels and turnaround times.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a shipping & logistics customer service role.
- Software: Working knowledge of FRESA logistics software is mandatory; solid MS Excel skills preferred.
- Location: Must be based in Dubai and available to work from our Hor Al Anz office.
- Competencies: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving, and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines; high attention to detail and customer focus.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with freight forwarding workflows (import/export, last-mile, customs clearance).
- Experience coordinating with carriers, warehouses and transport vendors.
- Exposure to KPI/SLA environments and escalation management.
