Description:
Stride, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Content QA Associate to support the Curriculum Quality Assurance department by ensuring quality across proprietary and third-party digital learning products. This role requires a combination of instructional knowledge, technical skills, and strong attention to detail to review and improve online course content.
The successful candidate will perform quality assurance testing throughout the content production cycle, identify defects, support development teams in resolving issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This virtual position is open to candidates residing in the 50 states and Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct content quality assurance testing on digital-based course assets throughout multiple stages of the production cycle.
• Review course materials for grammar, internal consistency, accessibility standards, and compliance with style and design guidelines.
• Verify LMS platform settings and functionality while preparing detailed deficiency reports for development teams.
• Collaborate with development and deployment teams to resolve content issues and defects.
• Support the Curriculum Quality Assurance Manager with projects, reporting, and process improvement activities.
• Communicate project status, issues, and updates clearly through written and verbal communication.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements for future processes and documentation.
• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality metrics and performance data.
• Support training and onboarding activities for new team members and vendors.
• Maintain assigned QA projects, documentation, checklists, and process materials.
• Assist with quality assurance audits and reviews to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support departmental objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, e-learning, or a curriculum-related field with 1–3 years of related experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Web proficiency.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Familiarity with the K-12 education space and/or online learning environment is preferred.
• Experience creating and editing end-user content in SharePoint or similar knowledge base platforms is preferred.
• Understanding of robotic process automation and AI is preferred.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
• Knowledge of content QA methodologies, editing tools, and quality assurance processes is preferred.
• Experience training new staff on processes and procedures is preferred.
• Experience reviewing web-based materials for grammar, accessibility, functionality, and content completeness is preferred.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards is preferred.
• Experience with proofreading, copyediting, and content management systems is preferred.
• Strong English grammar knowledge, including spelling, punctuation, and syntax rules.
• Experience testing online content functionality and usability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA is preferred.
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Teams, Slack, Zoom, or similar platforms.
