Description:
RemoteHunter is hiring a Care Management Processor to provide essential non-clinical administrative support to a healthcare care management team. This role supports coordinated care delivery by assisting with case management processes, member communications, scheduling, and data-related activities that help improve overall member services.
The successful candidate will work closely with care management teams to support case assignments, review member information, coordinate services, and maintain accurate records. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage administrative responsibilities in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for care management services, including case assignments, member screening, scheduling, correspondence processing, data entry, and clerical assistance.
• Assist with the initial review of case levels and support the assignment of cases to care managers.
• Review member data to identify key needs and assist care managers with implementing care plans.
• Schedule member appointments and visits with care managers as required.
• Screen members according to organizational guidelines and assist in identifying appropriate services.
• Coordinate required member services based on member benefit plans.
• Support internal and external communication to improve care management effectiveness.
• Process member and provider correspondence accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative support role within healthcare or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, or comparable software.
