The organization is currently seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage and oversee the legal billing process. This role is essential in ensuring accurate invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with client billing guidelines and e-billing systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with legal billing platforms, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit invoices for legal services in accordance with client billing guidelines
• Monitor, identify, and resolve billing discrepancies and rejected invoices
• Manage e-billing platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, and LegaX
• Ensure compliance with internal billing policies and external client requirements
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding billing issues and inquiries
• Track invoice submissions and maintain accurate billing records
• Assist in improving billing processes and reporting accuracy
• Support month-end billing cycles and financial reporting activities
Requirements:
• 1–3+ years of experience in legal billing or professional services billing
• Strong understanding of legal billing practices and compliance standards
• Familiarity with e-billing platforms and billing software
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
