Looking for Wok Specialist CDP
We are currently seeking a talented Wok Specialist CDP with extensive knowledge of home-made Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and Malaysian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an open buffet environment and must possess a passion for creating authentic Asian dishes.
Must have UAE (Dubai) experience and should be available now in Dubai for food trials
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various home-made Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and Malaysian dishes,
- Must have hand on experience including homemade: Bao, Dim Sum, Gyoza, and Shumai.
- Ability to work with different types of woks and cooking techniques.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
- Work with the Chef De Cusine to develop new and innovative menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ordering and managing inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Consider only candidates who are available in Dubai.
- Excellent wok skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
- Must have a passion for creating authentic and delicious Asian dishes
