Description:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join its Corporate team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on preparing, managing, and finalizing client invoices for moderately complex contracts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams, manage billing documentation, troubleshoot invoice discrepancies, and support contract billing processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, financial accuracy, and proficiency in invoice management and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, distribute, revise, coordinate approval processes, and finalize invoices for various contract types.

• Ensure monthly invoices are submitted to clients within established deadlines.

• Collaborate with project teams to collect required approvals and ensure timely billing completion.

• Create and maintain Excel-based invoices using client-specific formats and requirements.

• Develop automated spreadsheets and procedures to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.

• Establish documentation, workflows, and routines related to billing and contract maintenance.

• Troubleshoot billing issues and reconcile differences between billed amounts and project costs.

• Perform additional billing and administrative responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or equivalent degree in Business Administration.

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Working knowledge of contract provisions related to client invoicing and payment processes.

• Extensive understanding of client invoicing requirements.

• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of budgeting and client billing processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Must be a US Person.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Costpoint.

Strong knowledge of:

• Client invoicing processes and billing coordination.

• Contract billing requirements and payment procedures.

• Microsoft Excel, financial documentation, and invoice reconciliation.
