Provi, an innovative leader transforming the $240 billion alcohol industry, is looking for a Billing & Collections Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on managing the billing process and ensuring timely collections from clients, while maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any billing issues. The position emphasizes accounts receivable and collection activities, providing critical support to the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue accurate invoices promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients on outstanding balances.
- Maintain and update customer billing information in company systems.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to verify billing data and address client concerns.
- Prepare regular reports on aging accounts and collection status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable billing regulations.
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing and collection activities.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, or similar roles.
- Proficiency with accounting software, specifically NetSuite (including ARM module).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
