Overview:
Join North as a Back Office Analyst, Associate — a remote role where your attention to detail and professional judgment will keep customer accounts accurate and operations running smoothly. You will work under the Back Office Manager and Team Lead to complete account updates, reconciliation reporting, and quality reviews while collaborating across the business to resolve escalations.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and update customer accounts by performing essential account changes, running quality audits, and preparing advanced reconciliation reports.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of system capabilities, merchant statements, pricing and funding flows to support accurate processing.
  • Conduct identity and document verification using fraud detection and screening tools.
  • Coordinate with other teams across North to escalate and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Research, prepare, and process settlement and reporting materials for customers, partners, and senior leadership.
  • Meet aggressive deadlineswhile consistently delivering accurate results.
  • Respond to internal and external support inquiries to reduce incoming volume and exceed customer expectations.
  • Track and manage cases in the CRM, identify customer trends, and notify management of recurring or urgent issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prevent and resolve advanced customer problems and improve processes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to build trust with merchants, partners, and internal stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or a customer-focused role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and system checks.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and complex situations.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and handling varied legal documents and data sources.
  • Proficiency with multiple software applications and a willingness to learn new tools and product details.
  • Team-oriented mindset and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Availability to work overtime when required to meet business needs.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $18–$22. Pay within this range varies by work location and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications.
