This Auditor position is part of a government contract supporting the U.S. Department of Justice under the MEGA 6 Automated Litigation Support program. The role is fully remote but contingent upon contract and task order award.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting audit investigations, analyzing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting litigation-related financial analysis. This role requires strong technical expertise in auditing standards and accounting principles, as well as the ability to work independently in a structured federal contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit investigations for small and moderately complex cases related to litigation support.

• Analyze corporate financial statements, operating records, and related financial data.

• Prepare interim and final audit reports for Trial Staff and Contracting Officer Representatives (COR).

• Provide recommendations based on audit findings and financial analysis.

• Work independently or as part of audit teams under senior auditor guidance.

• Supervise and support junior financial analysts assigned to audit tasks.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with auditing standards and legal requirements.

• Contribute to documentation and reporting for federal litigation support activities.

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• MBA or equivalent in accounting or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of professional auditing experience.

• At least 2 years of specialized industry-related audit experience.

• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Public Trust clearance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

• Experience in litigation support is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

•       Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•       Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)

•	Financial analysis systems and ADP tools
