Description:

Capital Motion is looking for an experienced Assistant Cost Controller to join its hospitality team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring food, beverage, and operational costs while ensuring effective cost control practices across all venues.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of F&B costing, inventory management, recipe costing, and financial reporting. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work closely with Finance, Procurement, Chefs, and Operations teams to improve efficiency and optimize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and operational costs across all venues.

• Track daily consumption and identify cost variances.

• Manage inventory processes, including stock counts, reconciliations, transfers, wastage, and spoilage monitoring.

• Review and maintain recipe costing and menu costing records.

• Ensure accurate costing data within POS and inventory management systems.

• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports.

• Conduct cost audits and support financial audit activities.

• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Chefs, and Operations teams.

• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve profit margins.

• Support and train operational teams on cost-control procedures.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant UAE F&B or hospitality experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of F&B costing, inventory control, stock management, and recipe costing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost-control systems.

• SUPY experience is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of:

• Food and beverage cost control procedures.

• Inventory management and stock reconciliation.

• Recipe costing and menu profitability analysis.

• Cost reporting and audit support processes.
