Job Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Assistant Controller to join our esteemed organization in a prominent role. This pivotal position is vital for maintaining the accuracy and punctuality of financial documentation, managing compliance efforts, and delivering critical support for informed decision-making through comprehensive financial reports and statements. The Assistant Controller will also be responsible for audit coordination, intercompany accounting, and upholding robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial statement audit readiness for first-year audits and assist throughout the entire audit process.
  • Act as a principal finance and accounting resource, collaborating with both internal teams and external auditors to ensure financial integrity.
  • Record and analyze revenue streams, oversee accounts payable, and support financial operations for both U.S. and international entities.
  • Develop and revise finance-related policies and procedures with a focus on process improvement, controls, and governance.
  • Formulate and implement internal audit readiness strategies, conducting thorough audit procedures.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with auditors, banks, vendors, and other vital partners.
  • Provide essential financial analysis to support diverse projects and initiatives as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
  • CPA designation (mandatory).
  • Proven auditing experience in public accounting.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Discretion and sound judgment in managing sensitive or confidential information.
  • A collaborative spirit with a willingness to undertake various responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
