Description:

Kong is looking for an AI Enablement Specialist (FE) to join its IT team and help business teams improve productivity through artificial intelligence solutions. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who actively use AI tools, understand their capabilities, and are interested in building practical AI-powered solutions.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced team members to identify business opportunities for AI adoption, create automation solutions, support users, and improve AI skills across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to AI transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate business workflows and identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency.

• Build and improve AI automations, prompt-based tools, and lightweight applications based on business needs.

• Support employees through AI coaching sessions and hands-on guidance.

• Create clear documentation for AI tools, workflows, and processes.

• Test AI solutions to identify issues, limitations, and improvement opportunities.

• Track AI adoption progress and prepare reports on employee skill development.

• Research emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to business operations.

• Follow AI governance standards and collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of professional, project-based, internship, or coursework experience with demonstrated achievements.

• Practical experience using AI tools in daily work beyond basic usage.

• Strong curiosity about AI technologies and willingness to understand how AI systems work.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong knowledge of:

• AI Tools, Automation Platforms, and Prompt-Based Solutions

• Enterprise Technology Tools and Digital Workflows

• AI APIs, Scripting, and Application Development Concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI APIs, automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Claude Code, or Gemini Enterprise.

• Coding or scripting experience with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Experience training or supporting non-technical users with technology.

• Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, or Salesforce.

• Knowledge of API management, AI models, or Kong Konnect is an advantage.
