As an AI Copy Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how ClickUp communicates its products and innovations to the world. This role requires a blend of creative writing expertise, technical understanding, and AI fluency to produce compelling, high-impact messaging across multiple platforms.
You will work closely with product marketing, product teams, and creative stakeholders to translate complex product capabilities into clear, engaging, and human-centered messaging that resonates with a wide audience.
• Create high-quality copy for product launches, feature announcements, campaigns, pricing updates, and marketing initiatives
• Write clear, engaging, and human-focused messaging that simplifies complex technical concepts
• Collaborate with product marketing, creative, and web teams to refine messaging through fast iteration cycles
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and performance data to continuously improve copy effectiveness
• Develop and maintain scalable content systems including templates, frameworks, and prompt libraries
• Build and optimize AI-driven workflows and “Super Agents” to enhance content creation efficiency
• Use AI tools to support ideation, drafting, testing, and refining of marketing copy
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels including web, email, in-app, and social media
• Stay updated with market trends and user behavior to create impactful messaging strategies
• Contribute to improving marketing operations through automation and AI-powered systems
• Strong experience writing copy for SaaS, tech, or product marketing environments
• Proven ability to translate technical or complex software concepts into simple, compelling language
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI tools, automation, and workflow optimization
• Portfolio demonstrating high-performing copywriting work is required
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong creative thinking with a performance-driven mindset
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments
• Experience with AI agents, automation systems, or content workflows is highly desirable
