Job Summary:
As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will own invoicing and the timely resolution of outstanding receivables via direct customer engagement. You’ll work closely with sales and cross-functional teams to reconcile accounts, apply payments accurately, and prepare revenue-related reports.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain account portfolios using system reports, customer invoices, payment files, and adjustment requests.
• Analyze delinquent accounts to identify patterns, root causes, and deficiencies that delay payment.
• Submit credits and adjustments per established procedures, ensuring proper documentation.
• Review customer remittance files (commonly Excel) and coordinate with supporting teams to ensure accurate cash application.
• Develop and maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with customers, sales, and internal departments.
• Lead collection efforts for open receivables, prepare collection plans, and contact past-due clients with required documentation to initiate repayment.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests for documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in A/R sessions with sales to resolve disputes and strengthen client relationships.
• Support month-end close activities and collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements due to exposure to PHI.
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the role.

Compensation:
• Salary range: $50,000 – $55,000 annually (approx. $24–$26/hour).
• Specific offers consider experience, education, location, and internal equity.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred; High School diploma/GED considered.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of finance organization practices and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities for internal and external contacts.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently and within a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proficient with spreadsheet software; Intermediate MS Excel required (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Required licensures or certifications as applicable.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment (extended periods seated and viewing monitors; use of standard office equipment).
• Note: This position is classified as High Risk due to access to PHI and sensitive data.
