Hiring Accounting & Taxation Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE or Riyadh, KSA (available to travel)
To oversee the accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance functions for both UAE and KSA entities. The role ensures the integrity of accounting systems and records, leads monthly closing activities, and ensures compliance with local tax laws including VAT, corporate income tax (CT as per FTA-UAE and ZATCA-KSA regulations), and withholding tax (WHT). This position is also responsible for coordinating audits and providing strategic input and support to the Finance Controller into financial planning, analysis and controls.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a multinational or large regional firm.
- Experience dealing with cross-border transactions and intercompany tax matters.
- Familiarity with KSA corporate tax & e-invoicing regulations (FATOORA) and UAE corporate tax updates (from 2023 onwards).
- Familiarity & usage background of FTA and ZATCA portals.
- Proven record of handling intercompany transactions and recharges, while respecting and maintaining transfer pricing & benchmarking principles.
- Experience with maintaining TP local & master files.
- With prior experience with or from consulting background in client taxation & accounting services is advantageous and preferred.
Qualifications, experience & skills:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification like CPA/CMA/CA/ACCA are advantageous & useful.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounting & taxation, with at least 3 years in managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and KSA tax laws (Zakat, CIT, WHT).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Cloud-based solutions like Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail & mental application, and solution oriented & pragmatic organizational approach & leadership abilities.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
