Description:
8am is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist to provide high-quality assistance to its growing customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, legal billing, or bookkeeping, and strong communication skills to engage with clients and internal teams. This role requires a proactive professional who can support customers through inbound and outbound communication, identify business solutions, and enhance product knowledge and satisfaction.

About the Role:
You’ll engage with attorneys and legal staff to resolve issues, guide customers through accounting features, and ensure they have the best possible experience using 8am’s technology solutions. Collaboration across departments — including Onboarding, Sales, Product, and Marketing — will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to MyCase Accounting users via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist new customers with onboarding, data migration, and system setup.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve product functionality and user experience.
  • Resolve technical and product-related issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain open communication on support requests and follow up promptly.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all interactions with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer insights that drive improvements.
  • Participate in projects that enhance customer support systems and workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least one year of experience in customer support, legal services, or business development.
  • Knowledge of accounting or legal billing practices.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Familiarity with SaaS products is highly preferred.
  • Based in Austin, Texas (preferred).
