We’re Hiring — Accounting Specialist (Remote)
Alignerr is seeking a meticulous Accounting Specialist to assist in creating, validating, and structuring accounting datasets derived from financial statements, ledgers, and accounting workflows. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. Alignerr partners with AI labs to build high-quality accounting datasets used in financial reasoning and model evaluation.
Role Overview
The Accounting Specialist — Excel Dataset Creation will support ongoing dataset creation and ensure data accuracy and consistency. You will work with financial documents to extract, structure, and validate accounting data in standardized formats.
Key Responsibilities
• Review accounting documents, disclosures, and source materials.
• Extract and structure data into standardized Excel templates.
• Validate calculations, formulas, and formatting to ensure accuracy.
• Identify inconsistencies, errors, or discrepancies in source documents.
• Support recurring dataset creation, cleanup, and validation tasks.
Required Qualifications
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data structuring.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in audit, FP&A, or financial operations.
• Familiarity with structured dataset creation and data validation.
Additional Information
• Hourly pay ranges from $40 to $150, based on experience and qualifications.
