Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the team of a leading organization within the Business Services sector. This is a fully remote role within the United States, offering the opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining financial health, driving informed decision-making, and supporting sustainable business growth.
As an Accounting Manager, you will provide strong financial oversight, own key reporting and forecasting activities, and translate complex financial data into meaningful insights that guide investment, risk management, and resource allocation. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process while ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards
- Review sales orders to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition
- Deliver detailed trial balance analysis along with monthly financial reporting
- Manage global tax compliance, including VAT and other regulatory filings
- Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and review the work of team members
- Partner closely with FP&A teams to deliver timely financial reports and variance analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements to support scalable and efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience across industry and public accounting
- At least 2 years of public accounting experience; Big Four background is a strong advantage
- Active CPA license is highly preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in operational accounting and navigating ambiguity
- Familiarity with modern accounting systems; NetSuite experience is a significant plus
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables
