WE’RE HIRING: ACCOUNTANT – RECEIVABLES
A growing organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Accountant – Receivables to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals who are hands-on with accounting operations and have strong experience managing receivables while maintaining accurate and compliant financial records.
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will support daily accounting activities and ensure proper recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions. The role involves close coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily accounting operations, including both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Process purchase invoices and verify accuracy along with complete supporting documentation.
- Prepare and manage debit notes, credit notes, receipts, and payment entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger reviews, and reconciliation of financial accounts.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve invoice issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
- Carry out general administrative and accounting support tasks for the finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE (mandatory).
- Practical experience handling receivables is required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is preferred.
