Description:
Oryx Infra Contracting is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in the contracting or construction industry who are ready to contribute to daily financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting accounting activities, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates who are available to join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and perform account reconciliations.
• Support VAT-related tasks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with day-to-day accounting operations.
• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in the contracting or construction industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Knowledge of VAT, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Good Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Candidates with dependent visas and relevant contracting industry experience are encouraged to apply.
