Description:
The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is seeking an Account Clerk for its Purchase of Service Division. RCEB is one of 21 Regional Centers operating as private non-profit organizations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. Serving over 25,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, RCEB is committed to creating inclusive communities where individuals receive the supports they need to thrive.

Key Duties:

• Calculate fiscal data on purchase-of-service authorizations and input them into the system.
• Review and verify vendor invoices for payment using paper, E-Billing, or EA formats, ensuring supporting documentation is complete.
• Handle and distribute incoming POS mail, including requests and other correspondence.
• Maintain vendor files with proper documentation to support processed invoices.
• Respond to inquiries via calls, emails, and queries from vendors, consumers, and case management regarding invoices, payments, and authorizations.
• Perform additional accounting or clerical tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year of general accounting office experience.
• Typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute.
• Skilled in operating a ten-key adding machine.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to work effectively with diverse populations.
