Description:
Crimson Education is seeking a motivated Academic Advisor to join its U.S. team in a fully remote capacity. The role combines academic consulting with sales and client relationship management, helping students and families understand how Crimson’s university admissions services can support their goals.
The successful candidate will build relationships with prospective families, conduct consultations and academic assessments, present relevant Crimson programs, and guide new clients through the onboarding process. The position also involves supporting existing customers, identifying additional opportunities, and contributing to sales growth within a collaborative global team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
• Identify and engage with prospective Crimson students and families.
• Build strong relationships with parents and students by clearly communicating the value of Crimson’s services.
• Conduct professional sales consultations and academic assessments.
• Present and promote Crimson products according to the company’s sales process.
• Develop positive customer relationships that encourage satisfaction and referrals.
• Ensure timely onboarding of new clients to the Student Success Manager team.
• Contact existing clients regarding new products, services, and opportunities.
• Help resolve customer concerns and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Continuously improve sales techniques and expand industry knowledge.
• Participate in sales-focused marketing events when required.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team to support timely payment collection.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving sales processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional sales experience.
• Experience in the education sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fundamental sales principles.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a fully remote team across all four U.S. time zones.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Experience speaking or presenting to larger groups is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the U.S. college admissions process and competitive Ivy League landscape is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is an advantage.
