Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and directing the food preparation process
• Executing menus with existing culinary creations
• Ensuring high-quality of the servings
• Approve polishing dishes before reaching the customer
• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and functionality
• Overd=see ingredients and commissary orders
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation and safety standards

Requirements

• At least three (3) Character Reference from previous work with updated contact details (this is a must)
• Proven experience as Head Chef
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitor progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
• Credentials in health and safety training is a plus but not required
• Degree in Culinary science or a related certificate is a plus but not required
