Job Summary:
This Finance Manager role involves managing and supervising financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial forecasts, and budgets to support the medical centers’ goals.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and facilitate the completion of audit requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
- Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide guidance to department managers on financial matters and cost control measures.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational needs.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management procedures.
- Implement effective strategies to mitigate financial risks and enhance the organization’s financial stability.
- Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any financial compliance issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Streamline financial reporting processes and leverage technology for automation where applicable.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (15 years) in a similar finance management role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and healthcare finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Arabic Speaker.
