Hiring Interns for a UAE based Startup

• We are looking for young fashion design talents/ creative minds for to join a team of fashion enthusiasts where s/he will be building exclusive ranges for Women, working remotely.

• During these pandemic times when campus placements are challenged, this post aims to find fresh minds who are looking to channel their creativity into something challenging and fruitful.
• The role is to ensure styles are created and launched for each season. Someone with an ability to sketch using different software and additionally can hand illustrate- is definitely a plus.
• The role is to meet work deadlines, coordinate with supplier counterparts, negotiate designs and many more exciting hands-on things

Responsibilities:

• Managing design process from conceptualization to final styling (Mood boards, design, sampling and final production (meeting the launch date)).
• Researching on newest market trends, fabrics, colors, techniques and seeking design inspirations from them.
• Prepare technical packs with spec sheets for every design (for sampling/ production).
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts.
• Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.
• Reviewing product for style and fit with team and suppliers.
• To be a great team player

Fashion Designer prerequisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design from NIFT or equivalent colleges.
• Proficiency in working on design software.
• Availability to travel occasionally for research and product development.
• Excellent sense of style and color.
• Good communication skills, and thirst for knowledge.
• Willingness to work under deadlines
