Description:

Electrical Foreman – MEP (Dubai)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of electricians.
• Plan and layout wiring diagrams, conduit systems, and electrical panel locations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Monitor the progress of projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues.
• Train and mentor electricians in safety protocols and job skills.
• Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for projects.
• Inspect daily operations and projects in progress and upon completion to ensure quality of work.
• Coordinate work with other site departments in planning electrical related repairs limiting down time. Participate in scheduling department activities during scheduled down days.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and safety requirements and through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor.
• Work closely with the Site/ Project Engineer to provide departmental assistance in the work plan for assigned projects and responsibilities as required.
• Responsible for the electrical and instrumentation departmental goals and budgets, establishing strategies and policies, assigning responsibilities, measuring progress and reporting results.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Able to work at night if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experiences and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and wiring
• Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role
• Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical system drawings.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
